Playwriting - Session 1 Intro & Ideation

Learn the basics of writing for the stage and get your creative juices flowing in this first installment of a series of workshops geared towards guiding aspiring playwrights through the scriptwriting process, while also helping them start to discover, explore, and grow their own unique voices as artists. By the end of the class, students will walk away with a fully fleshed out idea and all the tools they need to get started on their first or next original play.

Note: Students attend both classes. This is the first in a 4 part workshop series leading to the development, by all students, of their own script.
