Home School Musical Theatre Program

Description: Fuel your passion for Musical Theatre through a unique home school program where students will work on songs, spoken dialogue, acting and basic dance moves. Students will learn how to tell stories through their performances, incorporating words, music and movement culminating in a final performance.

Dates: Tuesdays, Jan. 9, 16, 23, 30, Feb. 6, 13, 20, 27, March 5, 12, 19, April 9, 16, 23; No Class on March 26 or April 2.

Time: 11 am – 1 pm

Performance: Saturday, April 27 @ 7 pm

Ages: ages 7 – 18 (if there are enough students enrolled, we will break into an elementary ages group and a middle/high school aged group.)

Minimum Number of Students needed to hold the program: 10; Maximum – 30 students

Cost: $600/student/session. $75 performance fee includes t-shirt, 2 tickets and a digital copy of the performance.  $50 sibling performance fee. Parents/Family members may buy additional tickets. They may also buy additional t-shirts and access to the digital copy of the performance. Payment plan available where parents pay 3 monthly payments of $200/month, payable on the day of registration, on February 1, 2024 and on March 1, 2024.

Costumes: Students will perform in their show shirts. Students must provide black leggings, skirt or pants. Also, all student must have black jazz shoes for the performance. Possibly – one “nice” outfit (something they’d wear to a church service or to a Holiday party)

Requirements: All students/families must adhere to the Not Just Dance policies and code of conduct, available at: https://notjustdance.net/about/policies/

Note: All parents/families agree to pay the entire amount per student, per session, regardless of the number of classes a student attends.

Cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances (such as weather related closures): Students will be given an activity they can do at home. Typically, the activity will be practicing/rehearsing along with possible other activities.

School Credit: Students will receive a “Fine Arts Credit” which can be used towards their advanced diploma.
