Lion King Kids

Get ready to travel to the African savanna in Disney’s The Lion King KIDS, a fun and heartwarming musical adventure about family, friendship, and finding your place in the world. Follow Simba as he grows up, faces challenges, and learns what it means to be brave and responsible. Along the way, you’ll meet unforgettable characters like the wise Rafiki, funny Timon and Pumbaa, and the powerful Scar. This show is filled with exciting music, colorful costumes, and energetic dancing that brings the Pride Lands to life. It is perfect for your young performer who loves to sing, act, move, and be “in the spotlight”!

Ages

7-12

Note: While the age range for this class is 7-12, Not Just Dance reserves the right to change the minimum age for this class, based on registrations in order to create the best possible experience for all students.

Auditions

This is an entry-level theatre class designed to introduce students to the fundamentals of performance in a fun and supportive environment. Students will spend time playing theatre games and engaging in activities that teach core theatrical skills in preparation for auditions.
 
Auditions will be held in class. Students will be taught songs, sides and choreography- based on which parts they are most interested in, they will be given appropriate choices, from Lion King Kids to use as part of their audition. 
 
Audition dates are Tuesday, October 13th or Thursday October 15th.

Class Day & Time

Tuesday or Thursday from 5 pm – 6:30 pm.

Fees

  • A registration fee is due at the time of enrollment.
  • A performance fee will be charged on August 1, 2026 or at registration (if registering after Aug. 1). This fee includes:
    • A performance t-shirt
    • A Blu-ray of the production
    • Two tickets to the performance
    • Costume cleaning and rental fees

Performances

  • Thursday, April 8 at 7:00 pm
  • Friday, April 9 at 7:00 pm
  • Saturday, April 10 at 7:00 pm
  • Sunday, April 11 at 2:00 pm

Tuition

  • Tuition is divided into equal monthly payments, regardless of how many classes are held in a given month.
    • The first tuition payment will be processed at registration
    • Remaining payments will be charged on the 1st of each month, from September 2026 through April 2027

    Important: This is a performance-based class. The last date to drop the class without financial obligation is October 31, 2026. After that date, parents are responsible for the full tuition balance. See policies for details.
    All fees—including tuition, registration, and performance fees—are non-refundable and non-transferable.
