About Our After School Theatre Programs
Not Just Dance is a theatrical arts studio, formed to provide theatre education to students of all ages. Our program provides a wonderful learning opportunity for ALL students that are most importantly, fun and engaging.
Studies show that students involved in after-school activities have higher achievement and attendance rates. In addition, they are less likely to be depressed or burnout. After School programs keep children safe and protect them from risky and negative behavior. Our theatre programs provide supervised fun that are free from technology allow for actual human interactions!
School Representatives – contact us to schedule after school programs for the 2023-2024 school year. Our schedules fill fast! In setting up your unique after school program, Not Just Dance will work with you to determine dates and times that work best with the school calendar. Schools may pick one session, two sessions or all three sessions. We can accommodate any age range and work with the school to set up the appropriate program. The after school theatre program will consist of theatre games, acting terminology and theatre etiquette to help students begin to explore the world of creative expression through use of their voice and their movements.

Not Just Dance will charge $1/minute, after a 5 minute grace period. No makeups will be scheduled if class is canceled due to extenuating circumstances (for example, weather related school closures). The rate will not be prorated for missed classes, regardless of the reason for the absence.

Join Not Just Dance for movement activities that help toddlers and pre-schoolers explore their bodies and how they move. Please enroll in the right class based on your child’s age. Toddler – 16 months to 3 years; Pre-school – 3 – 5 years. Only students enrolled at Reston Guidepost Montessori may participate. Dates (Winter) Session: Nov. 28, Dec. 5, Dec. 12, Jan 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, Feb. 6, 20; No class: Dec. 19, 26, Feb. 13; Rates are per 10 week session. There are no makeups. Rates will not be pro-rated based on attendance. Toddlers – 3:15 pm – 3:45 pm; Pre-School – 3:45 – 4:15 pm.
